What are people saying about Eduro Learning's Facilitated Online Courses?

I really enjoyed the course! It was rigorous, practical and I learned a lot. I have lots of ideas to take back to my school and a roll-out plan for my new tech coach role.

Rikki COACHING: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

Icon: 5 Stars

It was a very positive course and, I feel, a great jumping off initiative for more coaching connections throughout our school. We have already started a plan and with a group of us interactively moving, I expect it to continue and take off. Very enjoyable.

Teresa COACHING: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

Many of the readings focused participants on the structures required to establish a good coaching relationship. The course makes participants really reflect on the best ways to nudge colleagues in new directions and offers tangible suggestions. Jim Knight was great an an anchor source; also like the Michael Fullan works.

Feedback from the facilitator and other people taking the class was something that worked really well for me. I appreciated getting ideas from others. I enjoyed reading the forum comments and receiving feedback on my thoughts from other professionals in the same position as myself.

Bridging the Professional Development Gap

Let us help you #coachbetter

Have you noticed that there is no existing structure in schools to scaffold your skills to become a coach?

Most coaches go straight from the classroom into a coaching role with very little professional training about instructional coaching.

We call this the Professional Development Gap.

Both new and experienced coaches can struggle with the constantly changing role of the coach.

As Instructional Coaches ourselves, we know how challenging this can be, so we’ve designed all of these courses just for Instructional Coaches.

Facilitator Kim

We've taken plenty of online courses ourselves and we know what they can be like, that's why our courses are different!

We focus on the community interaction, not the quantity of tasks.

We share relevant, practical, immediately applicable resources, not theoretical academic journal articles.

All the challenges in the course allow you to immediately apply your learning, not simply respond to a comment.

I’ve been a technology facilitator, coordinator and coach in international schools since 2000. I am passionate about the role of coaches in schools and the impact they can have on everything from student learning, to school culture and teacher professional growth. I absolutely love supporting coaches and teachers in taking the next step in their journey and currently mentor several new and experienced coaches, both privately and part of our Eduro Learning The Coach Microcredential Mentorship Program.

Chrissy Circle Profile Image

I’ve been a classroom teacher and a technology and learning coach for over 15 years. Being able to connect with and support coaches and teachers who impact learning inspires me every day. Remembering my early days as an instructional coach, makes me passionate about supporting “new-to-the-role” coaches and teachers thinking about transitioning from the classroom to an instructional coaching role. Having facilitated many online courses for Eduro Learning, I'd love to support and engage you in an online environment.
